'Useless' is pretty harsh. There was a pandemic going on disrupting all manner of things, you might recall. Sure construction went over time and way over budget but it seems to have been pretty reliable since commissioning. Just hums away all day every day making money for us.
Regarding Jenbacher, One GW of installed capacity is not a lot. It's 1000 MW. So Jenbacher's worldwide installed capacity is about the equivalent of 12 plants the size of Strike's peaking plant. It will be the only grid connected peaking plant not using gas turbines in WA, so that's a notable point of difference.
