USA, Europe, Japan and South Korea should consider buying graphite from Syrah over the next 18 months and stockpiling it. Call it strategic reserves in the event of a war with China.
A total of 170,000 tonnes between all of them per year. That would get Syrah back to producing - and cashflow postive.
That would get Syrah out of its hole at the moment.
