I think SP predictions tell you more about the person making the prediction, than the prediction itself.
From my limited understanding, there are a few things that need to be done before they could get into production at Goldsworthy East.
If the stars align as you say, I am not sure they would be able to have an inferred mineral resource estimate (MRE) JUST from the first phase RC drilling. I think the JORC standards would require further RC and/or diamond infill drilling which could then provide an *indicated* MRE to JORC standards (eg. 300 M tonnes).
From what they have released to the ASX so far, which included information that they had already held preliminary discussions with steel making customers overseas, logistics and port enquiries etc I would have thought they would already have drafted up an initial Scoping Study given how fast these guys are moving ...bulk commodities in WA are not novel or rocket science, especially Iron ore, and SR and team are very experienced.
Next they would need to put together a Pre Feasibility Study (PFS) which would outline MRE, costings etc again not rocket science for a BOD of their calibre.
Then apply for a Mining Lease in WA which would be fairly straightforward as most of the formalities would be already completed, ie floura & fauna, heritage, mineral report, JORC ore reserve etc.
This is pure speculation on my part, but I think they could initially go for a Mining Proposal for a Small Mining operation which has to have a total footprint of less than 10 hectares, which appears the southern target would fit into. This would allow them to get up and running relatively quickly with a low cost mobile plant set-up.
All of the above though depends on the drilling as we speak, but if the initial results are good then I'm sure they will try to move things along as fast as possible.
