I know a few high net worth investors who have tried to buy into exploration mining companies at around VWAP with no discount and have been rejected , although it would have meant no skimmed fees going to brokers , never worked out the rational for that ?
Be good to read a memoir from someone like Keith Goode (Eagle Research Advisery ) about his experiences with brokers and companies and preparing reports for them from when he went independent about 18 years ago - interesting guy now more interested in bird watching guess that is why he has that bird symbol in the corner of his reports .
