"Once downrampers use the war angle then you know they are done. This isn't the US starting a war with China."

Despite the fact none of us want a war (I really don't we crashing anyway IMO) you would also have to be blind to not see what is going on. Actually if you used your head for a minute and read some history about what has happened in the past with OPEC and the Middle East you might realise you really can't find a worse place to start a war.

    "Dodgy" economic data again"

Pretty much answered this one - yes it is. The inflation numbers are fake the whole world knows it (they always have been, they always will be) its why if you read the details of each report you can see how they deliberately continue to emit certain goods or change the way certain metrics are measured constantly.

However, remember we said a while ago that once the inflationary cycle is done we will see deflation. Now if you see what is happening in China and in the US which is slashing interest rates in desperation now you might find the market no longer cares about "hot" inflation but rather deflation. Hence all the talk over oil and demand destruction.

P.S. Again though unless your investment cant raise money in a recession (that's always the danger on speculative stocks) then a crash really doesn't affect you. As I said any sniff of "good news" in a bear market and penny stocks (I am referring to price not market cap) tend to go parabolic. You might find it actually ends up helping you. Good luck.
