I feel better now.

I had a pacemaker inserted on Thursday and weirdly I'm already feeling a bit better already.

Poor heart function was causing edema in my legs which is quite uncomfortable, among other things. My GP was up to it and they started testing my heart and eventually I had the procedure done. That was the most uncomfortable day in my life, starting with a two hour procedure under local anaesthetic and this old body can't stay still for that long - agony.

I have been grounded for a week but i don't see why. Like every other modern car mine is auto with good power steering so I don't need to use my left arm, which is the limiting factor for a few weeks and my heart is beating correctly 100% of the time and not just 60% as it was before.

The Doc., V good reputation, says I won't feel as tired now and that looks to be true already and the swelling in my legs has reduced. A cool feature is that I have a bluetooth connected phone which automatically rings home every night and downloads my data. If anything goes wrong they will pick that up quickly.

I have a positive feeling about this.
