I see the MLA have done some sums on how much the slow cooked brisket craze is adding to the average 300 kg dressed grain fed beast. Apparently brisket at $13 kg instead of much lower previous prices adds about $130 to the average carcass value. All helps at the moment where green hides are next to worthless.
