New place for the Peaking Power discussion. < Serving Suggestion >
There is a fault with HotCopper and that is nobody much is actually in charge of it. Sure the worst of it, like last night's alcohol-fuelled disgraceful outburst gets Moderated, and rightly so. That wasn't fit for human consumption.
I'm certainly not in charge of HC either but I have a suggestion to hopefully restore some semblance of order. I've started another thread over in the General section of HC specifically for further discussions to do with Peaking Power. I guess it can also accommodate the solar power fanatics, the battery boys, the power grid experts and anyone else who wants to contribute sensibly. There is no need for the one-line-no-content heroes and the smart alecs to attend. You can stay here on STX and do your worst.
As most of the peaking power discussion seems to be from people in the older age group, I've called this new place The Old Bulls' Ring. Best name I could come up with at short notice.
JL, I'm sure you're not done yet with your commentary. Please translate yourself sideways over to General. I will respond to you there [and only there] if there is anything more to debate.
