China Short Sellers
Reports are out that a number of quant hedge funds that were short Chinese Equities are now trapped in a massive short squeeze https://x.com/Barchart/status/1839930691779268732
...wonder which big wig got their fingers burnt shorting China.
...but some may say they (shorters) deserve it right?
...I agree except that we won't be laughing if they are large enough to create a mini systemic event of sorts.
