I think that's the problem.
Australian's have been indoctrinated by their parents that top loaders are better even though they've never tried them.
The only negative you can say about front loaders is that they have longer wash cycles.
However the Front Loader I bought has a 15/30min fast wash.
Normal cycle takes 1hr or 1hr 30min if you want an extra rinse.
Cold water only feed so it only heats water as required to the exact temperature.
Quiet as well.
