''But let the Labor propaganda machine do its thing''

of course it would be different if Scomo or Abbott or Duddo or Howard were in government

they'd be right up front in saying -------------- oh, folks, we can't take credit for this - it's just the high ore prices - it's not our quality management - it's the luck of the cycle

    yeah right --------

and the wackadoodledoos on here would be calling their hero's 'world's best treasurer' and that the Liberals are the better money managers - etc etc.

The actual facts are that good governing comes from what you spend the money ON

    what you invest in.

The failure of government is from what you DON'T spend money on - and in that area -

most governments in Oz are total failures.

Why? - well aside from a spectacular lack of vision and gross mismanagement a huge lack of imagination -------

one real problem is that voters will not let politicians have big ideas - they won't pay for those ideas - they consider big ideas like classical education - a waste of time - 'why would anyone need that maths and history and art stuff - just go out and get a job

ozzies don't have ideas - no ideas that extend more than selling off the rights to foreigners to dig up Aussie dirt and sell it to whoever -------

we can't even manage to write contracts which guarantee supply for our own use and at capped prices

    'she'll be right'

    the results -------

    homelessnessness
    lack of developed industries
    can't feed the population
years of waiting for health services
Aussies can't get real education without massive bills at the end
An atrocious loss of STEMS trained people - what few there are
    housing crisis,
    building trades crisis, supply crisis
    aged care crisis
atrocity after atrocity - retirement homes the latest

    decades of duds in government
