Strike still being handled and what that means is still a question?
More from me regarding MIN & Hancock and their positions & intentions in the basin.
Now this is purely spec with a touch of suggestion.
MIN in talks with Mitsui & Woodside with a touch of Santos in there as well?
Hancock happy with their lot with the Strike JV at this stage?
Not trying to stir, well maybe a bit but there is a train of thought that MIN & Hancock are not committed to the O&G industry and maybe preparing to take a side step that accommodates their own needs and especially in MIN'S case take some capital from and for their efforts.
ED1 results will sort out some of the mistique, but it seems to me from reading the cards that Strike will stay in the game and play their important role in gas production and I'm very comfortable with that scenario.
If Strike are still on the menu and that is very possible it may well be from left field and I say left field at this early stage.
I don't think MIN got the result they wanted from government and I don't think MIN want to be handicapped with extra costing in their current position, hence the for sale sign.
Going to get more interesting for Strike and ED1 if it delivers which I believe it will is going to be a HUGE factor.
A lot of thinking out loud here but I am contemplating a shift of priorities with operators in the basin and if so that could work out very beneficial for Strike and holders.
Just me a saying.
