Israel will never allow the 2 state solution. Questionable whether they ever meant to. Certainly any real hope died with the assassination of Rabin in 1995. Israel might as well continue as a terrorist state, I think they have done enough to ensure their eventual destruction , so they have nothing to lose, and they can maybe best prolong their existence with their present policies. An outcome I find very sad , in the early nineties there was hope of a peaceful resolution, and a wealthy Jewish and Palestinian state side by side, would have been a beacon for the rest of the middle east.
