The discussion was with someone else, the Advisor," Perry concluded.For your information, in this case Kenny Wisha Sonda, who is the legal counsel for PT Energy Equity Epic Sengkang (EEES), was charged with committing the crime of embezzlement under Article 372 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph (1) Ke-1 of the Criminal Code.Kenny was reported for carrying out his duties as PT EEES' legal counsel. At that time, he gave a legal opinion to the directors of PT EEES, the owner of 51 percent participating interest in the Sengkang Oil and Gas Block Cooperation Contract Work area, South Sulawesi, not distributing income to PT Energi Maju Abadi (EMA) as the holder of 49 percent participating interest.This is because PT EEES is still paying loans to a number of creditors in accordance with the agreement between EEES and EMA. For this reason, Kenny has been detained since July 22, 2024. Only on September 5, 2024, did the Panel of Judges suspend Kenny's detention.
