I have been wondering, as well. I bought at $33, then it dropped to $32 range, bought a bit more. Then up and up it went, I sold some at $36 and now feel a bit rueful, because it went up more.
But this rise is surprising. I got a brokers recommendation a few weeks ago, which talked vaguely of a break through in alziehemers (sp?) drugs. But these bio-med companies are always having a rumour of a break through on something or other. It would not explain this degree of activity.
I expect to see it pull back to around $35, and go back to being just a solid stock with predicatable earnings. If the aust dollar drops it will be a bit better for csl.
