well, WWIII is about to start over in Middle East.
But isn't that one of the very reasons for IXR technology and product?
That's the very reason why UK Govt, US Govt, EU Govt, Japan and Korea are hell bent on securing an independent home grown source of REE material.
"Hard to source funding" yep, but just maybe all this sabre-rattling will give that process a kick in the bum? Will it create further urgency, and focus Govt attention on securing that source of REE material?
We always have expected that IXR is going to need further equity to develop its commercial operations in Belfast.
I have confidence that UK Govt will assist funding - and if IXR can source project funding, it is usually a 60/40 split Debt to Equity. So a CR is a given in that circumstance.
Once FS is completed and published, IXR constantly state that it will enable Offtakes and Funding, (and maybe J/Vs?).
Look at latest news - not just news of funding - but new deals with very big German magnet producer, plus a new deal to develop a de-magnetising process, which evidently will reduce costs and increase production.
The new German connection will certainly really benefit expansion into EU, and possibly facilitate funding sources. EU is seeking security of supply and recycling as is US and UK - so same boat.
This new deal with VAC is just as much about securing relationships and credibility, and evidencing the reality of the circular process of this recycling of magnets, than it is about the cash involved.
So thereby enable the raising of further equity on the back off a way better SP and MC?
IXR has a penchant and history of media pumping - but frankly they are hitting the goals they have set.
That's the big difference. The "pump" is being supported by results - sure it is taking some time, but they are dealing with UK Govt agencies and red tape.
Anyway, I am now a believer that the momentum of the Belfast operation now has a head of steam.
