France has recently had a load of trouble with nukes ------ low water levels in rivers, too warm water - and lots of cracking problems in cooling towers ------ inland nukes.

compounded by a severe shortage of nuclear workers.

Cooling not an issue for the English channel ones - they take seawater.

The Dud's plan is to use existing coal powered sites. Sites that use fresh water except for SA.

He wants to use the existing sites to avoid new transmission costs.

Another reason why his plan is a dud.
