I agree generally small listed juniors taking the gravity gold route with small Gekko plants -the only plants generally available in Aust -usually ends in tears. I don't want to promote our capabilities and I have the utmost respect and admiration for Gekko but we built 50 tph plants complete to our design for a fraction of the cost of Gekko. I could still do a 50 tph plant just as good as the 30 tph Gekko plant for less than a million.
I haven't followed CLZ lately - didn't study in detail and as I recall the ore wasn't in the same class as EMC. I will have a gander -
Look at Morning Star - about 15 years after all the excitement with a 10 tph Gekko they are having another bash - maybe this time it will work.
All I know is this -I could put a refurbished 50 tph plant on site for about $500,000 using various items of equipment from my previous plants around the place and the plant would be highly effective and imminently operational. But mate at nigh on 87 I have a very busy program - finding gold at Newman and expanding acreage.
I hope Everest can make it all work because it looks tantalising. I wish I had some ground like that now would tempt me to get back in production if I could assemble a team again.
And if EMC can crank it up there is a state of the art Gekko plant as I recall about 500,000 tpa at Karratha with ARV that's never turned a wheel. Now that is a good plant and probably pick it up real cheap.
