Because it is not yet ready to be submitted. The required documentation is over 600 pages of dense and complicated medical science (and legal BS) and it all has to be perfect. Everyone at Race is working their backsides off to make things happen as quickly as possible.
The expectation in Q2 was the ethics application would be submitted in Q3, but as soon as we believed it was possible we would not meet our estimate of the timeline we updated our investors via the ASX (12th July 2024).
We release the most accurate estimate of our timelines we can at all times. We could choose to give no timelines, or overly conservative timelines, and so never have to release updates, but is this what everyone wants?
