The preclinical trials are finished.
Now we're doing a "human clinical trial".

1500 human patients have already had the same drug in a more dangerous formulation, so I'm not losing any sleep over safety.
As for the previously approved multi-functional "one trick pony", IMO most biotechs would kill to be in the same position.
