“The mining multinational Río Tinto has announced its intention to build a lithium carbonate plant in the province of Salta as part of its strategy to expand its participation in the critical minerals market. The company will benefit from the Export Investment Promotion Regime (RIGI), with the aim of producing 50,000 tons of lithium carbonate per year.”
