The unfortunate reality is Israel will do whatever it wants with little push back, the number of causalities (on either side) is clearly not an important factor for Gantz or Netanyahu. It is no wonder that Israeli protests in Tel Aviv continue and their government is introducing rules to stop protest. Netanyahu eventually will find himself in Prison if not for War Crimes it will be due to the string of other legal battles including bribery and fraud.

I don't want this to turn into a political discussion to be moderated but I have included sources for everything I have stated above. Most of which are from Israeli sources, yet they somehow don't get much runtime in Australia's predominately Murdoch press. It is no secret that Murdoch is very much a supporter of Netanyahu based on leaked documents from Netanyahu's own political office.
