If lender has a 10, 15, 20-year time frame it doesn't care about the share price next week or the week after, as long as there is no permanent impairment (e.g insolvency due to triggering debt covenants) the lender doesn't care and is happy to earn a fee for lending them in the meantime.
At the end of the day, it's all about your investment timeframe.
