    Can someone please advice on following as I am really confused with the terms used and I think am getting the units of measurement wrong somewhere :

    As at 31/03/2009:

    Birla Nifty:

    Ore reserves(Proved/Probable/): 567,518 Metal Tons
    Mineral resources (Measured /Indicated/Inferred): 1,025,782 Metal Tons

    Birla Mt Gordon
    Ore reserves (Proved/Probable/): 74,000 Metal Tons
    Mineral resources (Measured /Indicated/Inferred): 549,900 Metal Tons

    i.e. TOTAL: 2,217,200 Metal Tons

    So if we are considering annual production of 75000 Metal tons, does that means mine life of around 30 Years with its current reserves / resources?
