I've now been able to re-evaluate Australian Aboriginal art. Ok - I've only looked at France -there's a lot of other places on the planet -------- but, one thing is very very very clear - crystal
that Australian aboriginal art was very ---------- very advanced pre european oz - to the cave art in France -

country miles ahead in complexity, messaging etc etc. That'd be a hand grenade for the bonehead brigade - but, one just cannot get away from what one sees on the walls and ceilings.

It's a general comment - referring to painting and etching. Mainly painting.

An exception here, which I have not seen at all - is sculpture. That's a different kettle of fish in some areas ------ such as
the cave bison - looks exceptional

but, painting --------- pffffffffffft, Australian aboriginals have that one won - hands down
