You miss the critical point that ..all nations (countries) have
a right to defend themselves provided that the exercise of
that right does not threaten the right of a neighbour to
do ditto; particuluarly if that neighbour is a Great Power.

That, Mate, is the reason for this war in general terms
and your persistent failure to recognise that norm means
that you dont fully understand this war, mate.

As I have said previously. should Cuba or any other Caribbean/
Central American country decide on harbouring Russian/Chinese
WMD on their territory, the US armed forces would be in there like
Flynn under the amended Monroe Doctrine ( Ala Cuba 1962.)

America set the precedent in this respect
