So much roof solar now (in Oz) with only one third of our roofs on solar that the excess of power (from said solar) is overwhelming the grids on a good weather day. So much solar that the grids will be forced to retrofit battery storage to maintain the system (already been happening in the US for 5 years). if we fit the remaining two thirds of vacant roofs with solar and sufficient grid batteries, then it looks to me like we've got a fully viable, clean power system where the majority of costs are borne by the householder/and commercial enterprises - notwithstanding government incentives. And then you've got the FW's wanting to build dangerous, multi $Billion dollar nuclear grids with no available skills in that area and a finish date in the distant future. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy? Now there's the rub.
