What makes the rest of you believe the battery plant is going ahead? Iggy said that that they are in the early development stages and a decision will be made in time, whether they do go ahead with the construction of a battery plant, or if at all.

"If at all" means that they will not go down the battery plant track. So it's not even worth discussing these negative hypotheticals about GXY becoming a battery producer.

Read last paragraph of ASX release 24 November just to remind yourselves on where GXY sits with the construction of a battery plant.

Don't worry about GXY persuing further growth oppurtunities because if it get's too hard they won't go there. If they have a good oppurtunity to go there then charge your champagne glasses because it will be really worth the exercise for all shareholders.
