From a bit of googling, it seems that tha limit of 2 terms was abolished in 2007. Biya looks like standing again. If he ever stands down or dies, he is now 77 years old, word is that he is grooming his son to take over. Elections are in October 2011
He doesnt appear to be well liked by his people, but elections seem to be rigged so if he does stand again then odds are that he will be re elected. Opposition parties look to be very weak

Thats a very pretty picture of the country, but I am not reading it to be quite that good
