I was never unduly worried about the nuclear threat believing that MAD was a guarantee. Tad naive maybe with Poots in command. Today Ukraine, with some genuine help out of Europe and begrudging US help [you can have some of our obsolete weapons, but not too many] has Russia on the ropes. The problem is that Ukraine is just about finished themselves.

I just looked at a list of US strategic bombers since WWII, eight have entered service and another eight died in development, all big and expensive projects.

CAN YOU IMAGINE THE STAGGERING COST OF THAT EFFORT?

So now without any brand new high tech the US can put Russia in a box and nail down the lid. Give Ukraine what it needs and there will be a massive peace dividend, or at least it will allow the US to concentrate solely on China. Keep sending Poots pictures of where he is at the time and his ardor for nuclear will cool.

Perhaps your "hate" has clouded your logical thinking.

If people like you realize the fact, that once Russia is finished - China will be next, do you not consider the fact that the Chinese establishment realizes that also? Would you agree if that is the case, that it would be in China's interest to make sure that Russia does not lose?

And it's not just China, my Russia-hating friend. It's Iran. North Korea. And many other well-populated and well-anti-US-motivated countries all around the globe. All the countries that were screwed over by USA's aggressive foreign policy and neo--colonialism at one point or another. Which includes countries from Asia, Africa and South America. Even Europe.

Besides it's not in US's interest to topple Russia over either.
Here's a bit of a clue. Have you noticed how Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refiners have completely stopped? Do you find that strange at all?
Have you noticed how USA seems to be opposed to allowing Ukraine to use Western missiles to strike targets deep within Russian territory?
Have you noticed the fact that....well...All the aid has been provided to Ukraine - was provided in a drip-feed manner?

That gas pipe running through Ukraine is still going. Still churning over a decent amount of gas. Russia overtook US as number one supplier of gas to EU back in May 2024.

Why?
