Exactly, we don't know the mechanism of NYR, which is a bit concerning, but hopefully we'll find out some more soon. Calcium is pretty important to humans so when you say NYR blocks calcium that might be a bit of a problem.
As you also point out, intellectual property is a big worry with NYR. They don't appear to actually have any patent protection for NYR-BIO3 yet. Generally you would lock this down before a P1. The upcoing CR will probably be used to fund some IP applications, would you agree?
