It's a wildly over-simplied generalisation to suggest the Chinese are barking mad punters. They make the yanks look like amateurs.

There's definitely a bullish case to be made about the stimulus efforts, but the speed and degree of the sharp uptick looks like something more akin to Bitcoin price action.

A major press conference is slated today which has many eyes waiting with great anticipation of what the devil in the detail will look like. Great expectations need better-than-great fleshed-out details otherwise it will become a sell-the-news kinda day... in the ST, at least.

Over-optimistic animal spirits by punters or co-ordinated contrivance? Dunno, don't care. It does, however, look wildly priced for perfection, in the ST. To that end, I'm with @Lies&damnlies, which I'm sure was the central point.
