Sandy i totally agree, all this potential and a bunch of clowns running a circus.
P1000 and 62strat,
maybe either can answer.
Tindalo -1 dry oil for 5 days then water.
confirmed oil col 130m plus. Traget confirmed and dry.
ST-1 pump dry oil until they acidised it and had packer failure.
ST-1 workover, currently being evaluated. awaiting.
Six months of time wasting.
What i would like to know is:
would it have been better to P&A the well, and re-positioned the AD if neccessary to drill a new well.
62strat has mentioned this is the most expensive option, but with oil col confirmed, extra data obtained,
would it have been better to plug and abandon T-1 and drilled a T-2 well in a better location.
Because, they did go back and they did re-drilled T-1 exploration well, They re-entered it. They re-entered the same problem with lost circulation issues they encountered b4.
I assume they did this to save money. am i correct. because while it may have seemed like a great spot, the aquifer, somewhat changed that.
Would it have been better to re-drill a well at TINDALO, and gotten it right a lot easier than messing around like they have done.???????
