STO has been very quiet about glng and so I don't think a cap raising is in the offing. If it was I 'd expect to be seeing more hype coming through in an effort to get the sp up around $14 which I think is the miniumum to raise $1 billion at say $12.50 per share.
On the other I have high hopes we will hear news quite soon about Total investing in the Cooper unconventional gas play with a tie in to BPT (flagged in previous news on the Total deal), Kogas will sign on for 1 to 2 mt p.a (again as flagged on numerous occasions) and STO and Shell will announce they have agreed to share STO's site on Curtis Island and co-operate on the upstream and downstream ends of a massive 20 mt LNG development (this has also been canvassed in the news going back to July).
If i'm right it will be a good Xmas for STO holders.
Just my guesses and I could be completley wrong on all three points
