That's exactly the point you make that applies to W2V. Whether the fundamentals are great or not, the sp signals all is lost. Not the first company going through that stage as confidence and trust in management is almost ZERO. And that's where either a fortune is to be made or a huge loss. We have to rely on the only data that will be given to us: Revenue and costs. If Amos, as he stated several times, gets it right and achieves long term and lasting / increasing profitability then we could get filthy rich. If not, we will get burnt.
So what do we know at this stage?
If reported correctly then the gap between revenue and costs is closing - positive.
But the more services he is offering, and the more clients get onboarded, the more people or at least not less are needed until the software gets from "Installing stage" to "Revenue producing stage" - there is no other way but many see that as a negative, thinking that could be done at zero costs. Afterpay, Zip, online only retailers..... all went through the same process - Growing first, profit generating later. And we all have seen their sp moving skyhigh, falling ocean deep and now recovering if showing positive economics.
The only people knowing what's to come are Amos & Co. It is all about trust. Not the first time that trust gets handsomely rewarded, not the first time it ends in tears.
I can afford losses, so I buy the chance of getting some profits. Others are forced to throw in the towel to preserve the last few $$$ to have a chance to restart at other stocks. Only time will tell which strategy is right.
