What does a corporate city lawyer know about building a mine & processing hub, or running a mining operation?
RH is getting paid more than most general managers at BHP, who run entire mining operations, who are responsible for managing hundreds of miners, maintainers, plant & support staff, and responsible for their safety & the site's production targets, as well as managing the pit dewatering efforta, processing plant performance, accomodation villages, sewage systems, catering contracts...etc..etc..etc...
Why build a mine? Christ,who needs that headache...? Right?
Look at it this way...
RH is earning $500k/yr + Super + Benefits. He is in the top 0.5% of earners in Australia. He has made it. This is the best gig of his life!
He gets paid this, while simultaneously collecting 4 other paychecks, from the other director roles he holds, working for other companies. What a gig, luckiest guy in the world!
And what does he have to do for this amazingly lucrative nest, he's created for himself? Relatively little, compared to building and running a mine, that's for sure! And he knows this.I mean, what does he know about managing the building of a mining operation, right?
So, you tell me, where does RH's incentive lie..???
That's why he has to go.
