I’m guessing that RIO’s purchase, at a 90% premium to Friday’s closing price, is a variable that was not included in your analysis.
I expect most lithium plays to see SP movement of +5% or greater, tomorrow morning. Whether this will be a long term trend mover or a short term bump is difficult to predict, but I suspect that anyone who just entered a new short position on LTR, PLS, et al, over the past few days is going to regret that decision, at least in the near term.
Time will tell!
