Absolute nonsense, if that's the perspective you take (not me) it's a big success for the trading week and you're a very successful trader spotting the short term opportunity & having access to the friends & family shares.
If you're unfortunate enough to have been invested for a longer time frame then again I agree, it's defintely not a success story for most (yet).
Next week's roll of the dice will tell if it recovers somewhat or continues this poor performance trend (with exception for short term successful traders to jump in & out, taking advantages of fluctuations and buy luxury airline tickets, good for them).
