Note Tesla launched some cool taxis and mini people movers today, the kind that don’t need a driver…won’t be taking over roads tomorrow but they will soon enough and thankfully young enough to see it play out. Like when my grandad road a horse to school and a hybrid to his end of care appointments.
The economics like anything don’t work that well while they are stationary…a cab driver on a lunch break costs money…..fast charging, minimal downtime and a bit of extended range will be critical to the evolution almost as critical as the Ai that drives it….if you can also make it at volume and cheaper with an easy to source mineral base…even better….time to drop some $$ on both sides of the coin and start throwing darts at the board of the various global markets and players and hold the F on….it only takes one..and this tech should at least hit the board if not the bullseye…
