Make no mistake, the SMSF industry is in the cross hairs and the government knows they will lose no votes by going after SMSFs.
There is a power struggle already well underway in the superannuation industry with the current govt using regulation to shore up the industry funds, which of course are controlled by unions.
This govt have reduced super tax benefits for high income earners and they are on the record as saying they want super to be no more tax effective than any other structure, so expect more meddling with your nest eggs.
