Well, if you were of a conspiratorial mindset, you probably could find it easy to believe that the renewed and fuller acceptance of extremist, war-mongering elements of the republican party by the broader US electorate was possibly part of an overall strategy of the power structure of the US.
The election win of a corrupt, incompetant and completely unsuitable and incapable, "totally controlled by unions and soros elements" candidate such as obama to US president was only made possible by the "best of two bad choices" strategy that the republicans set up by chosing mccain to be their presidential candidate.
The socialists in the democrat party can ratchet one step further up the "creeping socialism" and rob the middle class of wealth and property rights, then a freshly and more absolutely enriched robber baron class can get back to work on world domination...
On course this sounds more like a Tom Clancy novel, but then these guys in the US power structure read novels also, and if it makes a good best seller, why not use the plot in real life...
