It's not just BKT. The whole graphite sector is bad - c.f. SYR, TLG I agree with @Danlibz conclusion that what matters most for now is the graphite price. The only graphite coy I know of and track which is doing OK, is EVG, and they are new producers of expandable graphite rather than raw graphite mineral for battery anodes. Expandable graphite is an industrial material used in different ways and has been around longer than the relatively recent surge in battery demand.
SYR, as an established producer of raw graphite, is something of a bell-weather for the ex-China market and unfortunately, it is still in the doldrums.
