'The govt think service providers are making too much money? ' Not the government, the RBA.
I just posting what I read. The RBA believes that the providers are charging retailers too much money for the services provided so it's going to look at it. This is a completely separate thing to the government banning surcharges although I believe it's a response by the RBA so that the retailers don't take all the pain.
