All comes down to management imo, lack of stock liquidity allows the manipulation. Poor marketing and opaque financials cause this and deter many investors. Recently putting acquisition of there own tenement ahead of the companies financial security was an extremely poor step leading many I'm sure to doubt if these guys should be leading a company or if there intentions arent detrimental to the financial wellbeing of shareholders equity .
We can't blame anything on a small time trader as if the above was all in order it would not be happenning I am quite sure.
