Thanks for the feedback Longreach, I appreciate it. I completely agree that this battle will be won through the company's ability to build and maintain strong, lasting relationships quickly. From a software perspective, they can also make it harder for customers to leave by ensuring the software is user-friendly, intuitive, cost-effective and expensive for them to leave.

Their strategy of allowing hospitals to use the software for free to get them accustomed to it and buy time until they receive reimbursement codes is a smart move. Equally smart is sharing 75% of their revenue with the hospital. They’re playing the long game, and investors need to be patient.

As much as we’d like to think they have a monopoly on autonomous echocardiogram analysis, they don’t. In my opinion, Ultromics (EchoGo®) is the clear frontrunner and the company to beat. Should we be worried? No. It’s always good to have a competitor to keep you sharp and bring out the best in you.

The competitor has already invested heavily in product design (that EIQ can learn from) and prequalified staff (EIQ can poach), and their presentations are very impressive (more so than EIQ, in my opinion). However, that doesn't mean the new CEO can’t step up, leverage his network, and gain market share. IMO, there will be 3-4 clear winners in this space, and there’s every reason to believe EIQ will be one of them, provided they play their cards right, spread goodwill, and delight their clients and employees.
