purina cat food

My cat deos not eat wet food - tried everything. He's 13 now and doesn't even eat chicken necks - have tried every type of brand and fresh food. Anyway, as it has turned out, ever since he was an ankle biter, all he considered was food is Purina One (Chicken and Rice Formula). Anyone who has a cat will know this brand is expensive.

As it turned out a few weeks ago, I though I would experiment once again with another Purina product - Purina Friskies Senior (Chicken, Lamb & Veg. flavour). It is 40% of the price.

He loves it and it contains practically the same typical analysis except for two differences - one quite inane, whilst the other quite substantial:

Purina One: 34% Protein & Crude Fat 13%

Purina Friskies: 31% protein and wait for it, 7% Crude Fat.

They both have the same amount of Crude Fibre and Salt.

So, for all of those cat lovers out there, buy Friskies. They are extremely cheap and your cat will love them.

Purina One is quite simply, well marketed and, a rip off.
