SYR has the worlds largest operational mine. The only thing it lacks is customers. SYR doesn't need more operational mining experience.
There was always the risk China would turn off the tap. Flake graphite needs to be processed and China does 95 percent of the processing. There isn't much which can be done until ex-China processing plants are built which takes time.
We got humbugged by Chinese synthetic.
