4DX and Philips will be presenting at Radiological Society of North America's (RSNA) conference together
I was digging around on 4DX's website looking for financial statements when i came across this page about the RSNA (Radiological Society of North America) conference - has anyone else come across this?
The key bit of information that caught my eye was the fact that Jell DiLullo (Chief Market Leader of Phillips) and Andreas Fouras (4DX CEO) are both keynote speakers for the same session titled "Revolutionize Cardiothoracic Imaging with Non-contrast CT-based Ventilation and Perfusion". Presenting at RSNA is going to be huge deal and it'll definitely be a positive boost to their commercial opportunity.
For context, I've been working in MedTech for the past 2-3 years and getting an opportunity to present at one of these conferences is huge, it's a soft endorsement from the medical society and generally, if the real world clinical evidence and health outcomes of your technology is good - you'll be able to get the medical societies to incorporate the use of your device into clinical guidelines as the standard of care.
So what does this mean for 4DX? (1) Increased awareness of their suite of products across the medical community = MORE SALES (2) Sets the pathway to become a standard of care and written into guidelines, this means if someone comes into a hospital / clinic with potential lung issues, the default diagnostic will be one of 4DX's products = MORE SALES
It also looks like the relationship between Phillips & 4DX is deepening - I made a post a week or 2 ago about a potential Philips buyout which I think is taking shape but at this point in time, its too early to say.
