I wouldn’t count on it Gareth. I’ve been sceptical of these “imminent” Govt grants since day 1. IMO if your company is successful, the Govt’s reply is “well you’re already successful without our help. You don’t need a grant.” If your company is unsuccessful, the Govt’s reply is “we don’t want to give grants to companies that are unsuccessful; it’s bad PR for us.” In my own experience as a company director for almost 20 years, the ONLY Govt assistance we ever got was a grant for employing “mature” workers (over the age of 45 I think?). I was glad to receive it, but I nearly fell off my chair when we got it.
