Whilst the placement is not illegal (the 5m. one that is) I think it would be important to know if there is an escrow period on them - I gather by the fact that it is not mentioned means there isn't, so, as you say, a little gift to some.
I usually have a thought that I shouldn't post on stocks I don't own and as of today I don't own - first time in three years, I'll keep GBE on the watchlist though.
